Advertising and affiliate disclosure

In one paragraph

vectaris.online is advertising-funded. Links labelled “Partner link” are affiliate links: if you follow one and buy, the advertiser pays DILA A ROBOTA s.r.o. a commission. You pay exactly the same price as if you had gone to the advertiser directly. The commission does not buy a favourable write-up.

How it works, mechanically

  1. A button on an article is marked Partner link and carries the HTML attributes rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which is how a publisher declares a paid link to search engines.
  2. Clicking it loads a redirect page on this domain at /c/1/, which immediately forwards you to the advertiser’s affiliate network. That page is excluded from search engines in our robots.txt.
  3. The network records that the visit came from us and forwards you to the advertiser.
  4. If you buy, the network credits a commission to DILA A ROBOTA s.r.o. and reports it to us in aggregate. We do not learn who you are.

What it does and does not cost you

  • Nothing extra. The commission is paid out of the advertiser’s margin. Affiliate programmes do not apply a surcharge.
  • The price, the plan and any discount are whatever the advertiser is offering at that moment to anyone arriving at that page.
  • We have no ability to change the price, and no special offer to give you.

Where you will see the disclosure

EU consumer law — the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC, as amended by the Omnibus Directive — treats commercial intent that is not disclosed as a misleading omission. Microsoft Advertising and Google Ads apply comparable rules. We disclose in four places on every commercial page:

  • A bar at the very top of the page, above everything, before any commercial content appears in the source.
  • A disclosure box immediately after the headline, before the article begins.
  • A visible Partner link label on every commercial button, including those in the sidebar.
  • A note directly beneath each button stating that we earn a commission and that it costs you nothing extra.

Our relationship with the brands we write about

We participate in affiliate programmes, directly or through networks, for the products we link to. That is the whole of the relationship. DILA A ROBOTA s.r.o. is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gen Digital Inc. or any other brand named on this site, holds no reseller or agency appointment, and has no equity or editorial relationship with any of them. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used here only to identify the products discussed — see the legal notice.

What the money does not buy

No advertiser reviews our copy before publication, approves wording, or can have a criticism removed. We do not sell ranking positions and we run no paid-placement format. The test is visible on the main article, which corrects three favourable-sounding claims about the advertised product, states what the plan does not include, warns about renewal pricing and names a free alternative. Our editorial policy sets out the full rules.

Privacy of the click

The redirect sets nothing on your device. It forwards any advertising campaign parameters already present in the URL you arrived with, so that the advertiser can attribute the visit, and it sends your referrer as strict-origin-when-cross-origin — the destination learns you came from vectaris.online, not which article you were reading. Once you land on the advertiser’s site, their privacy policy applies, not ours. See our privacy policy, section 5.
